The Power of Claude for Accountants
Wednesday 30th September, 2026
12pm - 1pm AEST
1 x CPD point
Claude stopped being a chat window this year. It now works alongside you in your browser, and it builds things that keep running after you close the tab.
Most accountants who have tried Claude have used about a tenth of it. This session is the other nine tenths, shown live rather than described: the Chrome sidebar that reads and works on whatever page you are already on, and agents you set up once and then simply use.
We build two agents from scratch on screen, so you leave knowing exactly how it is done rather than agreeing that it sounds useful.
What's covered
- The Chrome sidebar: Claude working with you on the systems and portals you already use, live
- Your first agent, built from scratch on screen, start to finish
- A second agent built on a real practice task: triaging the client query inbox and drafting the first response
- Projects and knowledge: giving Claude your firm's templates, checklists and tone once, so it stops guessing
- Where to keep a person in the loop, and what should never be handed over
Who it is for: Accountants and practice staff who have used Claude or ChatGPT a little and want to see what the current version actually does, with the work shown rather than promised.
When: Wednesday 30 September 2026, 12.00pm to 1.00pm AEST, live online via Zoom.
Investment: $99 including GST. A recording is shared with everyone who registers, so you can still book if you cannot make it live.
This session may count towards your continuing professional development, please ensure it meets the requirements of your professional body.
